Bali with kids

Hi all
I am a returnee after 18 odd years and travelling in early August. I am thinking that a lot has changed since my last visit. I am so excited to be finally taking the hubby and my two girls 13 and 11. My previos trips were as a single girl with friends so this is a whole new ball game. Can anyone help with advice on good places to eat, shopping for the girls and civilised nightlife with kids. We are staying in Tuban and am meeting up with my cousin and her hubby.
Any advice would be appreciated as my 11 year old is a very fussy eater and only eats the basics.
