Having Indonesian family & staff, I experience this alot. As you have so generously given in the past, it is only natural for them to think you would help them on this occassion.If you can afford it I would offer at least half of what they are asking for. This way you are still helping them but also letting them know they need to take responsibility for themselves. Hope this helps with your decision.
