Received an sms yesterday to one that l'd sent and l dont know what to do about it, over previous trips l've become very friendly with a female beach seller and have msg her on occasion and her replys have always taken a day or so as she speaks english well but struggles with written and usually gets her 13yr old daughter to help her reply. But yesterdays reply was written in perfect english and signed by her husband, he has obviously had a westerner write this for him as he also struggles with written english, and msg came back after only a few mins, telling me how quite it is for selling and have no money , he then asked me to send him $100au, his name was written as we would write it not as my friend usually does.
Never before has my friend asked for anything, in june she was telling me putu has headaches at night a lot and l suggested she get her eyes checked, she did this and was told she needed glasses, on the day we left l gave her the money to pay for them, she did'nt ask or imply in anyway for me to do this, it was something l wanted to to do, Putu msg me to say thankyou and on my next trip came to to show them to me.
So my problem is l would like to think my friend is unaware of her husbands request, if anyone has any helpful advise on how to deal with it l'd love some help.
