I get a different answer each time I ring Jetstar. Can anyone clarify things for me. We are going to Bali from Melb via Sydney. I've been told we check in through international and customs etc in Melb and our bags are sent straight through to Bali.
I've been told they will hold our flight even if the 'domestic' leg is running late as it's a connecting flight and won't leave without us except in exceptional circumstances. If this happens, we will be booked onto the next available flight - a horrible thought.
They've tried to change my Syd - Melb flight 2 times with ridiculous waits in Sydney for the connecting flight back to Melbourne. After kicking up a bit of a stink they put it back to the original connecting flight after telling me it had been cancelled?!!!
I'd really appreciate any info clarifying how this all works.
