and it was really confusing. You have to check in at domestic Qantas in Melbourne. They transfer your luggage in Sydnet so you never see it again till Bali. You can catch the airport shuttle to transfer from one airport to the other in Sydney. And yes they will wait for you cause you have already checked in and they have your luggage onboard. Oh you have to go through customs in Sydney. This would only be if you are on a domestic number from Melbourne to Syd then International number from Sydney to Bali.....
