Hubby would love to live in Perth but it's too far from anything (except Bali) LOL
The longer travel is not really worrying me (even though it's a bit dearer.
The problem is I have to travel school holidays and with less flights now the chances of me getting on a flight are slim. I travel standby and last trip I nearly got stuck there. Had to go via Singapore and nearly ended up thjere overnight also.
Can't take the risk when I only have 2 weeks. Christmas is not so critical as I have more time up my sleeve.
So just looking for an alternative as I don't want to sit at home every holidays. Poor me. LOL
I will Email you Camille as your island suggestions may suit me.
The pet sitting idea is great but I can't make definite plans as I may not get on a flight.
Mitch- Koh Samet sounds great. I saw it on Getaway a few years back and thought it looked great. If you could Email me with an info that would be great. How do you get there?
Thanks again everyone. Guess I'll have to try some other places. If I don't like it I can try somewhere else next time. I need to be more adventurous.
