Charles, I have followed your posts. You have laid too many bricks to throw it all away, please be bloody careful. There are more loopholes and landmines in buying land here than you will ever believe. Just because you have gone to a Notaris does not mean that it is all above board. The guy who sold the land may not have permission from his family, this can include a brother, wife or even his father who has the same name but actually owns the land. You admit in your own post that you are having problems with the conversion because of the number of zeros. The land can not be in your own name without a complicated legal process. Also did your mate Shrek mention that the normal payout to anyone introducing a deal here is 5% of the purchase price. In the last month, I have had 4 different people asking me to help them buy villas worth around $300,000 US, and I have tried to talk them out of this despite the fact that I could pick up a $15,000US bonus for talking them into each deal. (Actually 2 of them have contacted through this particular forum).I realise that a few folk do not like my style of writing but when someone does not know the difference between serong and a sarong they need assistance. A major legal stuff up is as simple as that small mistake. Charles please feel free to contact me, even if it is only to tell me to get stuffed. Cheers Ron.
