There are some great cheap air fares with Air Asia from Bali to Kuala Lumpur. From there, you could seen a bit of the city, go to the cool Cameron Highlands, go to some of the beautiful eastern islands (Tioman, Perhentians...), fly to Borneo... your options are endless.
The other option of course is to go to another island in Indonesia for a week. Have you thought about Flores? It is so beautiful and friendly and unspoilt - one of my favorite partsof Indonesia. A donestic flight should be easy to book from Bali.
