Dear forumites
I live in the Netherlands and I love Bali, the island of the Gods,
and january 2007 I will visit Bali for the 5th time, can't wait.
Holland is a small, cold, wet and expensive overcrowded country with 16.000.000 people.
So I like Bali with the friendly people, the climate, the rice paddies and of course the rather cheap prices for food and lodging.
The disadvantage for me is the expensive (1000 $US) and long (16 hours) flight.
I am just curious why Aussies like Bali, because Australia with the size of about 100 times Holland with a great climate, endless shores, great food and compared to Europe reasonable prices seems a paradise to me..
What is the " X factor" ??
