many cases you are able to do just as you've done. I've read that disproportionate number of people, particularly in stressful jobs, become ill whilst on holidays. The company I used to work for gave you back your holidays as a matter of course if you presented them with reasonable evidence of your illness whilst on holidays, as they were aware of the legalities in such a situation. Though I'm sure there are many companies out there who are either unaware of this requirement or don't choose to recognise it. I wonder what the regulations would be in relation to those who fall under an EBA? Hmmm... Anyway, glad to hear that you can re-do your holiday! Cheers, Sue.
