My partner and another couple are travelling to Bali in March for one week. We have been to Bali before and experienced Nusa Dua area, Kuta, Seminyak, Legian etc. This time we would like to perhaps stay in Ubud - however, we want a taste of coastal life as well, just not in the general 'touristy' areas. Maybe the east coast? We prefer to stay in 5* or deluxe hotel/villa. Can anyone recommend places to stay or visit that is not too touristy but not off the beaten track either due to our short stay in Bali? Your thoughts are very much appreciated.
