I wouldnt expect you could top up in Australia at a Vodafone outlet, just as I wouldnt expect you to be able to top up a Telstra card when overseas, with a local dealer.
I wonder if you can top-up the Indo card via a website??
The Indo card would have to have international roaming to allow calls from Australia. (Interesting that sms can be made).
I wonder if you tried dialling 62 81 then the Indo sim card number from Australia, if the phone would ring... probably still need International roaming.
