First time nervous visitor

I am a first time visitor to Bali, I am goin for a family wedding in September. I have never had any desire to go to Bali in the past and am only going for the wedding. My concerns are safety after the terrorist attacks of the past and also such things as the following i hope people can enlighten me on.
Are you able to drink the water as I have been told not to?
I have been told crime is a big problem?
Health, what sort of vaccinations should i consider?
Personal safety, is it safe at night?
I dont want to sound like i am a "Bali Basher" I am just nervous.
If any one can enlighten me or confirm any fears, please let me know.
