I agree and have always had travel insurance. Just arrived back from Bali yesterday - this time last week had to go to SOS clinic as I had a bad allergic reaction to a Henna tattoo. Very red and my foot started to swell. Was treated for about an hour I guess where they tried to remove it, gave me steriod injections, various pills and dressings. Now have to fill out the forms etc - cost about $250 which doesn't sound like much compared to a hospital visit but still money I don't have - had to pay on credit card. Hoping no problem claiming it back from insurance.
