Sofitel Hotel Seminyak

Anyone stayed here recently? I've checked the Archives and found mixed reviews, particularly as it seems the hotel underwent a name change and renovations in 2004/2005.

Need to know:
- what's better: garden view or ocean view rooms
- bathroom: walk in shower, shower over bath (step in or step DOWN)
- restaurant/bar facilities
- suitable for over 60s or is it more for teeny-boppers

Or are there better options around Seminyak?
