VOA is 30 days (500k) and can be extended for another 30 days (500k)

This will remain the same for the moment (until the new amendment is implemented where it will only be 30 days and not extendable)

The changes in price and extensions refer to the visit visa B211a (which is not a VOA and has to be applied for before arrival)

The B211a has 2 purposes - tourism at 1.5m and business at the moment which is 2m base price (before agent fees)

Both require a sponsor and are given initially for 60 days
Both were able to be extended 4 times (30 days each to a max of 180 days)
Now the B211a will apparently not be able to be extended
Those visas granted prior to April 16 are able to get one extension of 60 days for 2m
Those visas granted after April 16, no extension available

Those already onshore prior to this, the process is unclear

Immigration announced the changes re extension on the eve of the week long holiday, so no clarification as yet.

The price changes were announced 2 months ago and in effect from April 16.

There is also going to be a 180 day visit visa for 6m but not sure if this is for all or just preinvestment purposes
