INTERNATIONAL ENTRY
Effective April 5 2022
CIRCULAR LETTER NUMBER 17 YEAR 2022
MAIN POINTS
1. PPLNs (overseas travellers) are required to use the PeduliLindung application and download the the application before departure
2. Show the card/certificate (physical or digital) has received the vaccine COVID-19 second dose at least 14 (fourteen) days before departure
3. Obligation to show COVID-19 vaccination card/certificate for under 18 is excluded but will be vaccinated (6-17 years) at entry point after RT-PCR examination upon arrival with a negative result or in quarantine after the second RT-PCR examination with the results being negative,
4. Show negative results via RT-PCR test in country/region of origin whose samples are taken within a maximum period of 2 x 24 hours before departure and attached at the time of health inspection
5. In the case of PPLN that has been confirmed positive for COVID-19 for a maximum of 30 days before departure and has been declared inactive to transmit COVID-19
They are exempt from the obligation to show COVID-19 vaccination card/certificate and the negative RT-PCR results on departure
It is mandatory they are re-examined for RT PCR test upon arrival and attach a doctor's certificate or COVID-19 recovery certificate
6. For PPLN foreigners, attach proof of ownership of health insurance which includes financing for handling COVID-19 and evacuation medical treatment to a referral hospital with a minimum coverage valueas determined by the organizer, manager, or government local area
7. Upon arrival, PPLNs are required to undergo a symptom check related to COVID-19 including checking body temperature
8. If overseas travellers on arrival are
i. detected to have symptoms related to COVID-19 and/or have a body temperature above 37.5 degree Celsius, they must undergo RT-PCR re-examination
ii. in the event that PPLN is detected to have no related symptoms with COVID-19 and have a body temperature below 37.5 degrees Celsius, they can continue the journey (with conditions - see main text)
9. If required to take a RT-PCR test on arrival due to temperature above 37.5 degrees, the travellers must be picked up and dropped off directly to the hotel, place of lodging accommodation, or residence and wait for the results
They are not allowed to leave the hotel room, the room of place of lodging accommodation, or place of residence and not allowed to interact with other people before the results of the RT-PCR examination showed negative results.
Those who have received the second or third dose of vaccine are then allowed to proceed with the journey with the negative result
