Usually when I fly AA to KUL from DPS, I climb down stairs and take a bus to the plane.
KLIA2 is a very large confusing terminal in KL.
Wnen I sat next to an elderly lady on a AA flight from DPS to PER, AA made her climb the portable metal stairs to the plane. They did allow her to sit near the rear door and help her to seat.
Why don't you book her on the direct Air Asia Indonesia X flight from DPS to MEL?
When I flew last Tuesday, I used the Air Bridge to walk directly to my Air Asia Indonesia X direct flight from DPS to MEL.
Also the new terminal at DPS is a very large confusing terminal with a long walk to the gate. Could you accompany your mother to the AA Checkin and insist that they take her to trhe gate in a wheel chair ot golf cart?
