My mother is booked on a flight Denp/KL/Melb mid June. Do u know if AA embark/disembark from the tarmac or from the jet bridge. My mother is legally blind and 87 and needs a little help but afraid of stairs even with help. She is travelling with us to Bali but doesn't want to stay any longer than 12 nights so therefore flying home alone. She has travelled quite a lot on her own and always receives special assistance. Unfortunately only available flights when she booked was AA flights unless she was willing to pay triple or more. At time of booking my mother was told she would receive special assistance but after handing over her money travel agent apologised and said no assistance will be give because AA. Travel agent have no idea about pretty much anything regarding my mothers flight just that no help will be given.
