Hi everyone,
It has been grey this morning and now we are having a total downpour. But I am OK because I have sat outside by the pool drawing a candi bentar. I couldn't have stayed there so long if there had been full sun. So now I am happy in my room finishing sketches, though if this keeps up it will be water and a bag of crisps for lunch.
(There is bintang of course, but I think I need more on my stomach than a bag of crisps).
I know some of you are following my blog and the sketches do get a bit more interesting from now on. Unfortunately my friend who was here was sick with major dental problem, but that gave me more time to sketch. But I work on the principle that I must get something on the page each day, even if it it rubbish. Even if I don't finish it. But it gets more Balinese from tonight. No more flowers.
I am staying at Cendana in the Money Forest Road. First time here and I love it. Reminds me of Rambutan at Lovina Beach. I have a beautiful carved door to sketch if I get stuck in the room with this rain.
I went to visit Villa Kitty again yesterday. Other guests proved to live across the park from me at home and walk their dogs in the park I walk across all the time. It is always easy conversation there, because everyone is an animal lover. And lunch was amazing. I could really have made a pig of myself on the desserts.
