native language due to the predominate use of Bahasa Indonesia, hence organisation like basabali.org . I am led to believe that in schools it is the other way around in that they are teaching the native language so it's not forgotten .
I probably can't answer your question with 100% confidence and would leave it to some of the expats to answer or perhaps you could ask it on one of the expat forums.
