I've stayed at both hotels. RE Kids clubs - you may find most kids clubs have minimum ages for children to be left alone so you will have to pay extra for a babysitter to be one-on-one with your child in the kids club! Kartika's children's pool is great- the layout of hotel is fantastic. I'd suggest one of the ground floor rooms right near the pool so you can sit on the porch while the little one is having a nap. Staying in Tuban is great for easy access to Waterbom and the hotel is next door to Centro- we would just walk along the beach path into Kuta. Re Padma- Kids Club is OK (Although not as good as Dynasty or Holiday Inn) Resort is spread out. Great location if you want to spend time on the beach and do Seminyak restaurants. New pool at the back has the waterslide (this is where the cheaper rooms are located).
