is expensive. Especially when the room only has AC, cable TV and a fridge full of soft drinks at $1 each. Plus that darn big blue wobbly thing called a pool which is located straight out the front door is a nuisance as well. I have to walk around it every time I go to the beach.
What really annoys me is that the $50 includes breakfast for 2 people. I don't want breakfast every day, they should offer a discount or something else for free.
The beers at $2 in the hotel are way overpriced especially when Then can be purchased icy cold for $1.80 while sitting on the beach.
A feed of snapper served up with three different sauces and salad at $6 is ridiculous. Then they give you a free plate of fruit just to be annoying.
I also think that warung down the road that sells a chicken drumstick, cabbage and rice for $1.50 should be shut down. The thieving mongrels even charged me $2 for a large bowl of oxtail soup.
Their are even places charging a genuine government tax on top of the meals instead of concealing it in the price. The government tax inspectors demand they are kept seperate but that is no excuse. What are restaurant owners thinking of? Goodness me.
And that rotten 3% that banks demand should be worn by the restaurant not passed on to the consumer.

This is why every 5 years I leave Bali for a week or two.
