We stay in a fabulous little resort in Monkey Forest Road, once you walk down the drive you feel you are a million miles away from the busy street. Staying in the centre, you can walk everywhere. Breakfast and afternoon tea is included and each of the 21 villas have their own private garden, either looking out on the rice paddies or over the stream at the back. Sheer paradise. I can give you the name if you request my email. It is definitely worth the money and the staff really help you celebrate. The pool at the back is an infinity pool overlooking the gorge. If you really want to splay out ask for villa 1 with private pool. Usually include a free massage for 2.
