shopping.
I generally buy stuff from anywhere. I don't have the patience to put up with 'shonky stuff' though, so if a seller tries smart ar*e tricks I generally just wander off. The clever people get the point.. but I cant be bothered with people who just carry on.
IF I want fixed price stuff particularly I use it for an excuse to go and have a lovely walk on Sanur beach and go to Tootsies.
I just, for the life of me, DO NOT see anything special about Ketuts.
It's just a total schamozzle. I can never see any bigger sizes.
I DID get a shirt that I wanted another one of, but her price was about 20,000 rp more than Tootsies.
I was there in January, and whilst the streets were dead, there must have been about 50 women attempting to shop in the one place.
I didn't see anyone with cold water, but that doesn't mean anything.
I REALLY think that "Miss Debby" , across from her, has interesting maths skills. I wouldn't recommend her..
HOWEVER, Ketut is an astute business woman. More power to her. I was watching her, She has a drawer full of money... many retailers would love to have that sort of turn over.
