Are you planning on having some of that carry on under the seat or all in the overhead compartment?
I understand not wanting to buy a different carry on bag but its not always just weight that is the issue but also more bags take up more space. Hate it when people have numerous bags which take up all the overhead space and don't leave any room for people who only take their one bag.
