And since when do you compare costs from one country to another on a percentage basis. The simple fact of giving someone a 50c tip in Bali is nothing to do with how much tip I give cabbies in oz,(where I do always give a few extra dollars if I get good service.) I know the main discussion was about them not having change at all, but I was just commenting in the hope that if any new visitors read the post they would be less likely to haggle and whine over every rupiah like it was their last.
