I found when booking for this October (during school holidays) that Garuda only released sale prices for fares under 14 days.

I watched 3 separate lots of friends book cheap fares ($630 and under) and at no stage could we get them for under about $930-ish for stays over 14 days even when leaving Sydney on the same flight.

We just ended up giving in and booking Virgin.
