I have to thank you jerryiatric for giving me Kadeks details 3 years ago I have made sure to visit her and the awesome children every year since and have become very fond of them all. I saw Kadek and the kids in early June we took a few goodies (magazines, boardgames, some NZ chocolate, slinky's, hair ties, etc) for the kids and some supplies that we had rung through to Kadek to see what was needed, they are all looking so well. Wayan and Kadek were not there when we arrived and the boys made us feel so welcome with a kopi and the red mat to sit and have a chat on, then they arrived back from a wedding to see us so I took a few photos of them dressed in their finest ceremony outfits which I am getting framed to take to them next year. It cracked me up that Kadek was rearranging Wayans shirt and telling him to smile.....us wives are the same all over the world. How amazing is lil Wayan, his story really got to me, weighing in at 10kg and 9 years old when he arrived and no education, he is now 13kg and going to school every day and can write a few words :) he will thrive under Kadek and Wayans roof.
Anywho a big thank you to you for making me and others aware of Kadek and her incredible love for helping these kids, I shudder to think about where they would be without her.
