A few years ago I posted here how I had been drugged and robbed by someone in Sanur. I stupidly accepted a piece of food from a tourist that was laced with something. Actually, people replied I shouldn't post that. That was 2006. I've been back to Bali maybe 8 times now. So it never phased me I just wanted to caution people.
Now I'm living in Indonesia. I have a friend who has a friend and same thing happened to her. She was meeting some people to discuss purchasing some property. She drank some of their water, lost consciousness after a while and woke up with all money gone. The interesting this is that she thought the nationality of the criminals was Iranian. That is exactly the nationality I thought of the person who drugged me.
Do I have anything against Iranians or Muslims? Absolutely not!
