I to have stayed there for last 13 trips, and can't fault it either, and i used to stay in the standard rooms, now that they have been renovated and no longer have a verandah to sit on, i now stay in an old superior room over looking the pool, I am also in the same frame of mind as tracy,I don't like 5 star hotels, I'm only in my room to sleep and as long as it has a/c, I'm happy, its also very close to matahari's and the main drag of kuta.
