has anyone used AA online check in

you print off your own boarding pass and check in online and then go to airport (were using perth airport).

is it really that easy? print your boarding pass, then just arrive at airport and had your luggage over?

just wondering if its all good or is there anything i need to be wary of if deciding to do this.
