many years of travelling to bali have shown me the tourists do not know much about the roads here often never ridden bikes before and usually having been drinking quite a bit when they do always horrified when I see aussie parents hiring motor bikes for their children who have never ridden before or letting them go tandem with no helmets why???Yes the balinese do have plenty accidents too and some are very irresponsible but they seem to have some rad savy and know which streets are dangerous etc. - wasnt a bagging all tourists on motor bikes but have had some close calls with some this trip.
