I returned 4th December with Dengue. Bed rest is the only thing if he has a Type 1 to 4. If he stays in his room with the a/c, stays cool and takes Panadol. Up to 8/day. Call a Doctor if he is at all concerned. But if he is still infestious, he must use Insect spray and be careful not to get bitten again. As he will pass on the dengue. Rash is a real nuisance and you will have a fever. Drink lots of water. Have another test when you get home to see what type it was, if he doesn't already know. I live in FNQ and the worry here was that I pass it on to the neighbourhood. The Response Team up here were on to it straight away and checked the neighbourhood out.
