The dog that was adopted was it a healthy pup? I've read and been told that BAWA never euthanise dogs unless they cannot be saved. Am shocked and will get more info.

As for shelter they will shelter dogs that cannot be returned to where they came from if they have space available to house them. It's like that for any animal welfare org i guess . I've been told by BSDF that their rate of dog adoption is very good

Although I have met Linda in a non animal welfare setting, i didn't know BARC also care for birds

I apologise for my tone in response to your post. I really thought you were playing one off against the other when i read, "and unlike BAWA they take the dogs in, BAWA does not shelter the dogs" and so i was pretty upset, and yes, taken aback too, lol.
More obvious to me now why it was said.
