no choice, and yes they are at risk.. When we moved here my husband and I talked this through for years and decided against having children at all due to the risks of having them in Bali, so we have Balinese children instead. The statistics are there, even though you have the support with you, they just don't have the facilities you would have at hand in Australia and you have a language barrier. Best of luck, I will say a little prayer for you, try jumping on the expat forum as there are some on there that have given birth at that clinic and you can read there stories... from what I have heard it is a very different and sometimes a little frightening experience but they all have happy healthy babies.
