and they love the Safari Park - we go there every time and stay overnight if we can. They absolutely love it.
Waterbom, Bali Hai to Nusa Lembongan and pontoon (swimming with the fish), Bubba Gumps and the arcade games at Discovery Mall rate highly with them too. My 8 year old boy LOVES shopping at the markets and bargaining down for all the rubbish toys kids love to have. He has bought some lovely silver lizards and things too, but I am blown away by how much he enjoys wandering thru the market streets! He loves chatting with the locals and they love talking to him!
They didn't loke Monkey Forest at all. They were both really frightened by them.
They also love the fish spas. We go to Carla Spa in Legian - much cheaper than Mataharis.
Kintamani attracted a huge WHOA! from them when we finally reached it and they liked chatting with the driver on the way, but it was a very long day for them.
We took them once to the orphanage at Klungklung and they got a lot out of that. They had bought toothbrushes, toiletries, lollies, biscuits and rice in Klungklung with their own money and we spent a good 1.5 hours there while they played with the kids. We had brought skipping ropes and balls and pumps from home which I had collected from the local soccer club and the kids at the orphanage and my kids all got a lot out of the visit.
Hope that gives you a couple of ideas.
