We have been using the Bali Navigator maps on our garmin GPS for a couple of years with no trouble. In October it wouldn't load the Bali map - didn't even try to acquire the satalites, just said simulating.
I thought at the time it may be the garmin unit itself, however when we got back to Perth we could use the Australia Map.
We are in Bali again now (Tuban) and are driving to Ubud and then Amed on Sunday morning so really want the GPS to work, however we are still having the same problem. We have left the gps on the Dash for a few hours and still just simulating. We rang the Bali Navigator agent in Sanur and they said the email the sales@balinavigator address. We've done that but haven't had a response yet.
I'm just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem and if so how they fixed it. Maybe we need to re-buy the map or update? I've reset the actual unit a few times.
