If a hotel advertises in US Dollars the charge at the end is still in RUP!
If you pay the bill in US Dollars cash It will be what you were quoted in US Dollars they cant argue! (what you want to do)
OR
If you pay by credit card they will charge you RUP and convert it to US Dollars at "Their exchange rate" which may be a lot less than the going rate (you loose and not a smart way to pay)
OR
Change AU Dollars cash on the day into Rup and pay your bill in Rup and it costs nothing less or nothing more you pay exactly what it costs (Smart way to do it)
OR
Change $AU to $US at home "now" and loose, then pay the hotel bill with the $US that you have already lost money on??? (not so smart)
