I was just pleasantly surprised that the GM of The Legian took the time to respond, because we are also staying at the Intercontinental and I have not heard boo from him.
Essentially, my primary concern is for my 6yo, as a parent I need to ensure that all measures are taken by the Hotel to disparage infestation or at the very least by controlling the situation.
And it seem's The Legian are doing just that so I am happy, I am not so naive though to believe it cannot happen to us.
