i think my wife has the same issues in regards to how people see her. sometimes when we are walking around at night after a late dinner or going to a bar we sometimes pass groups of men sitting down and i can hear some whispers and comments about her, assuming that she is some thing other than my wife, and i must admit some times on occasion have have had the urge to reply, but i know this would only embarass her more, so i bite my lip. fortunately we do not have family pressure because her family are in borneo, she was in Bali for her singing, but there is a bit of pressure to hand out when we there, because she is married to a bule and they all seem to assume she is now rich because of this. after the weekend things are looking up after a few discussions and she can now see my side of things and i can also see hers, so we have agreed to stay at a cheaper hotel like losari, sorgawi or pondok, so i think we will both be happy at the end of the day.
