of help, that would be great. I probably should re-word what I mean about not free, as there are no monthly charges, but without a uniform the kids can't attend and they need the year level work books, etc and yes this is beyond the capabilities of a number of families.Munti has improved with the recent building of a school, water bore/wells and also cement block homes built for those without a house also there are small bags of rice given to villagers on occassions. Presently there is an outbreak of measles and 4 children passed away a few weeks back as they weren't immunised. As they were born in their homes without doctors, etc they aren't immunised and at a cost of 150,000 rp at the closest doctor in Tinyar (spelling?)they seem to remain unimmunised. Rice and food are priority one and school costs, even though very little, are way down the scale, with basic survival and hindu ceremony needs taking priority.Any information and assistance with how I could go about getting bulk SD uniforms, sox and belts which could then be distributed to families would be absolutely fantastic and would take the pressure off families as then it would be totally "free" for them to go. Thanks so much for your reply and info, regards, jan
