Summary of where we ate:

LEGIAN

ZANZIBAR - great...loved it

BLUE OCEAN - loved it also, can't remember now which one but one of these two offered nibblies you went & helped yourself too on arrival, we were there early, I noticed it had disappeared by 6.30pm or so when it starting filling up.

FLYING PIANO - Also fantastic, had 3 piece band playing in corner.

YUTZ - our favourite in Legian, steak to die for all for $10! Little frozen margharitas and garlick bread on arrival.

MBR - only ate lunch here by the pool, it was fine, club sandwiches really nice, course everything comes with French fries LOL

SANUR

CAFÉ JEPUN - Gorgeous setting, food, everything... a $1 taxi ride from villas but they offered free transport back but we walked anyway.

DESIREES - restaurant attached to Emerald Villas, open to public but didn't seem to get anyone coming down the lane looking for it, we ate room service, mashed potato yummo after so long without it LOL, prices very reasonable, think it was 270,000 rupiah for the 4 of us but no drinks of course.

WICKED PARROT - once again good, not as good as others but more than adequate, band playing music, good atmosphere

RATATOILLES - not sure of that spelling! But it was FABULOUS, setting gorgeous, this was a our last night & a fair way from Villa but I had passed it day before in taxi & remembered it was on my recommended list so we were glad we went, kids voted them the best fish and chips for entire holiday.

DUCK NUTZ - well here is where I offend BTF members who love and have recommended this place....very disappointed and voted our worse meal for entire holiday, service dismal, never came back to offer 2nd round of drinks, we were only ones in there beside a lot of ‘friends' I think drinking at the bar...hopefully we got a bad night...

Wine was expensive everywhere, much more so than 2yrs ago, I ended up drinking Bingtang & squeezing lime juice in! that is only drawback about Bali, the wine and champers - or lack thereof LOL.
