have nothing but praise for the medical facilities we have experienced in Bali...would not call it third world. A week at Kasih Ibu with our close friend, where they picked up brain tumours and also a week experience with another friend at Surya Husanda International, amazing staff and facitlites...better than private hospitals we have seen in Oz!! Need the medical insurance for sure...our friend in Kasih Ibu ended up with bills that totaled $500K AUD!!
