It is a long way to go just for a day even if the flight is only 20 minutes, allowing for airport transfers and check ins you will spend a fair bit of time at the airport and wont be able to see the best of what Lombok has to offer. You could just go to Senggigi but then you may as well stay in Bali as it is not much different from a smaller Bali resort.
I just booked a ticket to Bali so at Rp860,000 return + departure taxes it would be a pretty expensive day trip too.
