Here's a question for you all. And before anyone tells me to ask the insurance company, I will, but I thought someone may have prior experience. We are going away soon. Last night my son broke his thumb at football training and is now in plaster up to his elbow, and they say at the Emergency department it will need to stay on at least 4 weeks. This means it will need to be removed while we are away.
Given that I took out the insurance before the accident, will travel insurance pay for the cost of having the plaster removed in a hospital or Dr's clinic rather than a butcher job with a hacksaw?
By the way we are not going to Bali, but Cambodia which presents another dimension, but this forum is so full of good advice, I thought I would post the question here.
