I think he is referring to a local apartment, you can get them for 1 million a month, not usually in Legain, but maybe. They include electricity and water in the price and they are of local standard, bedroom will be a local size, so no larger than 9ft x 9ft (largest), small lounge/eating/kitchen area, kitchen will have a concrete bench with cold water sink and no cupboards, you will need to supply your own furniture, your own fridge, your own gas cooker. The going rate at the moment is 1mil. Usually very noisy places and not much privacy, never a pool or restaurant, usually above a business or at the back of a business or residence.
The Melati apartments are for tourists and I believe that would be more like 2 million a week.
