First time to Bali...questions

Hey, appreciate any help in advance!

Heading on my honeymoon in just under 3 weeks time and have some questions. Spending one week in Ubud and one week in Kuta.

Trying to sort out the best way to tackle finances.

Was planning on just charging all resort related expenses to my Mastercard as I checked their rates today and they are a mere 7/10 of an American Penny over the bank's rate, so not a concern to me.

But what about when we're wandering the towns/shops. Would it be beneficial for me to acquire some American cash or local cash?

I believe I read departure tax is 200K IDR?
