Take SD card and batteries from home, that way you are ready to go staight away, you can get cards at Carefor.
If you have anthing of value to take why would you put it in your suitcase, your carry on is 7kg and with you all the time. (Geez it only plasic wrap)
Most good bali drivers can get you (good) discount tickets to everywhere and i highly recommend wayanadiarsa.com, new Toyota van,very freindly and knows what australians like, has baby seat and esky.
No problems with the money unless its over $10000.
With the paintings the frames are basicly pine stappled together, maybe get them dissmantled and rolled up with the painting, buy a staple gun from bunnings and do it at home it easy.
