We are all entiteled to our opinion of course but the large Australian corporations certainly would not be above condoning something shady,just look at Rio Tinto and the activities in china as an example,and would just blame the local operators they use for giving them false information.
Yes of course the new arrivals procedure is legal,but where have you or anyone else seen the VIP aspect,which is the bone of contention here,been mentioned in any official notice about the new,or old, procedure.
Do you not think that IF it was a fully legal and sanctioned service it would be officially advertised,or at least mentioned officially occasionly,and it would be advertised and implemented at all indonesian airports rather than just by the already proven corrupt immigration officials in Bali.
I have never entered another country in the world where I personaly did not have to physically front the immigration officer with my own passport.
